Blackberry Ridge

The drive to Blackberry Ridge is a fantastic adventure of scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Serenity is all around!! Pull up to Blackberry Lodge and you'll feel the peacefulness and serene surroundings of the National Forest and Nature at it's best. Walk up to the wrap around decks and take in the mountainous grandeur of 360 degrees of ridges. When entering the main level of Blackberry Lodge, you'll be astounded by the cathedral ceilings and open feeling like you're sitting among the trees. The main living room features a gas log fireplace and queen sleeper sofa. A very large dining table and fully equipped kitchen with all The necessities of home. Walk onto the back deck and grill out with the gas grill and dine outside on the picnic table while taking in the mountain scene. There is a queen bed on the main level that walks onto the screened porch with Hammock chairs and the 6 person hot tub. There is also a full bathroom on this level. Upstairs you will find a large king master suite with TV/Sat/DVD and a private master bathroom. There is a great view of the mountains from the bedroom. Downstairs is all the fun for the kids. Large open living room with TV/Sat/DVD and an Air Hockey table. Walk onto the deck right into the woods. One bedroom with bunk beds which has a Queen bed on bottom and Twin on top. The 4th Bedroom has a twin bed with a trundle that pulls out and up to make a King Bed or 2 twins. There has been a pack and play and a high chair for those families with little ones. There is also a canoe we can rent for $25 extra per rental to take to the river and enjoy some fishing or canoeing. There is an abundance of hiking and waterfall excursion books and info in the cabin for those of you looking for an adventure. Otherwise, just relax in the hot tub, kick your feet up in the hammocks, cook a nice dinner and ENJOY LIFE FOR AWHILE WHEN YOU VACATION AT BLACKBERRY Ridge.
